Nia Davenport, CPA

Nia Davenport graduated from Wake Forest University with a BSB in Accounting in 1994.  Starting her career at the international CPA firm of Arthur Andersen and Company, she gained a broad and diverse understanding of both personal and business finances.  She worked in the accounting industry until she earned her North Carolina CPA license in 1997. Nia then began to pursue her passion of helping individuals manage their personal finances when she became an associate with a financial planning group in Greensboro, NC. While working with a variety of clients, she began to sense the need and the calling to specialize in helping married couples find unity in planning their financial future.

From 1999 - 2005, Nia took several years to turn her focus homeward.
She diligently and successfully took steps to pursue financial unity in her own marriage, while managing both their personal and business finances.  Nia also celebrated the births of 3 babies in 3 ½ years (they now have 5!), helped her husband to start a Civil Engineering firm, and enrolled in the College for Financial Planning in order to gain more expertise and prepare for the Certified Financial Planner Exam (which she passed in 2006). Over the past five years, Nia has led several seminars and speaking engagements on topics of Biblical financial management and financial marital unity.  She has published articles in several national magazines, and been interviewed on Crown Financial Ministries’ Radio Show.

“What makes my services unique is not only the training and experience I’ve gained in the marketplace, but also at home,” says Nia.
“I know firsthand what can happen when couples aren’t working together; but I also know what amazing things can happen when they are.  I believe in the power of synergy:  that combined effort is greater than individual effort.  It is my mission to see my clients transformed from two individuals with different goals to a unified team working to actually make things happen.”
